Welcome to Mentally Strong

Participating in sports can be incredibly positive, helping youth develop habits related to hard work, persistence and collaboration, but sports also bring experiences with stress and failure. Developing “Mental Strength,” or the ability to cope with these types of emotionally stressful situations, can be like a super power, leading to success on and off the sports field.

We developed this program to help teach coaches how to support youth athletes in learning and practicing mental skills with a goal of building this type of mental strength.
